Adsense income meaning when we put Google ads on our website or blog and when someone else clicks on it, the owner gets paid a small fee. Now do not estimate this small fee as there are many people who have achieved financial freedom using Adsense.

The advantage of adsense income is it is simple to set up and earn but then again you need $100 minimum before Google send you the cheque. Like most website, generating traffic is a big problem for most website owners. No traffic = no adsense clicks.

On average if your website is information website, you will get a percentage of 2% click rate. Meaning for every 100 page hits on your website, you will get 2 clicks. Not bad right? Of course the average per click depends on other factors but save to say you will easily get 0.20-0.50 per click on average in US dollars. On a rare occasion, I do get $1.00 per click and on very very rare occasion I can get $3 per click.

However for product information site, where your site is dedicated to giving information on products review, you will get a higher click per rate. On average this can be 30-50% click through meaning for every 100 visitors you will get easily 30 clicks. The drawback of this is you will certainly get less traffic for product website but high traffic for information site like gossips or politics. The reason for the higher clicks is simply because when people are searching for products, they will compare pricing and get the best deal, that is why they will click the ads.

Other factors include the colour of the website, how you place your ads and how you write the contents.

Talking about politics, let us look at our famous www.malaysia-today.net site This site has Alexa rank of 9696 and ranked number 44 in Malaysia. Their google ads placement is perfect and they on average will have 1.8million page views a month. Now let us take 2% of hits on their google ads (very pessimist) and you will get on average 36000 clicks a month. I have some local sites which optimized for Google ads and on average I get 30 cents per click. Lets do the Maths 36000 x 0.30 = $10 800 monthly.

Now it is quite easy to earn online with Google adsense as long as you follow the right formula and do not try to cheat by asking your friends to click for you. That is lame and will certainly get you banned. Have the right mindset to do it, focus on it and keep duplicating your success.
